![]() The interface is quite fiddly though - to get dictionary entries to pop up, you have to highlight a word exactly go one character over, and the app can no longer find it. In any case, I look forward to this app and it's improvements.ĭoes what's on the tin. It would be great to have the add to wordlist functionality available everywhere, ie safari and mail. ![]() If I want to do that, I have to copy the URL from safari, paste it into wakaru's browser, highlight the word, and then add it to a wordlist. I'm finding it a critical default, that I can't add to wordlist outside of the app. Maybe this is only important to me, but I prefer to keep these vocabulary words to review later. As a matter of fact, that's the only thing you can do outside of the app itself. In safari, you can only define a word and not add it to a wordlist. Maybe this is a difficulty created from Apple's end. But it doesn't integrate with safari as well as I would like it to. The standalone browser can access websites and use its features like define and add to wordlist. The app has 3 features accessible from its main menu a browser, an e-reader connected to aozora bunko, and study lists. However, I would just like to clarify somethings that I feel weren't apparent to me at the time of purchase. That alone has helped me tremendously in reading more Japanese texts. I really enjoy this app so far, especially the aozora bunker e-reader features. Sorry, but no German dictionary is supported - that would be the icing on the cake and would raise my rating to 5 stars! ![]() Quick look up between times by an unknown concept or determine a reading is thus a breeze and does not disturb the flow of reading. Especially on the iPad, I find it very good to use, is on the iPhone to me a little too fiddly and too small (that is, however, more to the hardware, as the app). I use this app like to read Japanese web pages. Translation into English (google language tools): Please add german dictionary, then 5 stars! ![]()
